About The Position

Segal McCambridge, a national trial firm recognized for its litigation excellence, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our General liability team in Los Angeles. This is a hands-on role supporting seasoned attorneys on high-profile, complex litigation matters from day one. As part of our collaborative and well-established team, you’ll play a critical role in managing the full lifecycle of general liability cases while working closely with attorneys who value mentorship, teamwork, and professional growth. While the position is in office, there is opportunity for flexibility and some hybrid work.

Requirements

Paralegal certificate or equivalent professional experience
At least 2 years of experience supporting the defense of complex civil litigation matters
Strong organizational, proofreading, and document management skills
Familiarity with California court procedures and e-filing systems
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach to work

Responsibilities

Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations/arbitrations, and trial preparation
Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial exhibits
Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and document production using litigation support systems
Coordinate with clients, experts, vendors, and opposing counsel as directed
Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including exhibit organization and summaries
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements
