About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our estate planning practice. This role works closely with advisors, attorneys, and clients to prepare estate planning documents, manage case files, coordinate client communications, and ensure a smooth planning and execution process. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, client-service-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced professional environment. About Strittmatter Strittmatter Wealth Management Group, LLC (SWMG) is a boutique Registered Investment Advisor located in downtown Fort Worth, TX. We have been in business since 2007 and specialize in retirement planning, investment management and business planning to high-net-worth clients and business owners. Requirements

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in estate planning, probate, or elder law
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of estate planning terminology and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management software
  • Experience working in a law firm, financial advisory firm, or wealth management environment preferred
  • Experience with trust funding and asset titling
  • Familiarity with CRM and case management systems
  • Must be willing to work full-time or part-time, as required
  • Professional and compassionate client communication style
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, transfer and funding documents
  • Coordinate estate planning workflows and maintain case management systems
  • Gather and organize client financial and personal information
  • Communicate with clients regarding document collection, signatures, and follow-up items
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate execution/signing appointments
  • Assist with trust funding and asset transfer documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Work collaboratively with financial advisors, attorneys, and administrative staff
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of client matters
  • Provide administrative and operational support for the estate planning department
