About The Position

The Law Offices of Marshall Dennehey, a nationally recognized civil defense litigation firm, is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join our Mount Laurel, New Jersey office. Litigation Practice Areas Include: Motor vehicle accidents, Premises and Products Liability, Insurance coverage issues, Negligent security and liquor liability. Personal injury actions may include Slip and fall claims; Property damage claims; Fire loss claims.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of litigation/casualty paralegal experience
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree required
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple assignments
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Willingness to learn and adapt as new skills are required
  • Dedication to fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred

Responsibilities

  • Obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing documents, including medical, financial, tax, and employment records
  • Creating detailed medical and factual chronologies
  • Preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files
  • Compiling evidence through discovery documents, transcripts, records, libraries, and databases
  • Managing and organizing electronic and physical case files
  • Coordinating with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and support services
  • Generating status reports, logs, and case indexes
  • Corresponding with clients and opposing law firms
  • Conducting legal and medical research, including review of expert materials
  • Communicating with experts and analyzing their qualifications, prior testimony, transcripts, and publications
  • Performing additional duties as needed
