Our Goose Creek office is home to a dedicated, close-knit team within the broader structure of our firm. We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Paralegal to join our Goose Creek office. This position will focus on Probate, Estate Planning, and Litigation matters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable speaking with clients over the phone.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a paralegal in probate, estate planning, or litigation is strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable and professional on client phone calls
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Nice To Haves
- Paralegal certification or relevant degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with probate filings, estate planning documents, and litigation support
- Draft and organize legal documents, including wills, trusts, pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Coordinate and manage case files from initiation through resolution
- Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and other parties via phone and email
- Maintain deadlines and ensure accuracy in documentation and case management
