About The Position

Segal McCambridge, a nationally recognized litigation firm, is seeking an experienced paralegal to join their dynamic team in Austin. The firm's team handles a diverse range of matters, including construction defect, premises liability, product liability, and other complex general liability cases. This is an in-office position that offers flexibility where appropriate. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal in civil defense litigation
• Experience handling Texas matters in both state and federal courts
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
• Meticulous attention to detail in drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Windows applications, e-filing systems, and online research tools
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including interaction with senior-level professionals
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Sound judgment in managing a diverse workload
• Experience with billing and time entry

• Take ownership of your files
