About The Position
The Husband & Wife Law Team is seeking a Paralegal to manage their own caseload of serious personal injury cases, including major accidents, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries. The Paralegal will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their cases progress smoothly and they feel supported throughout the process. This role requires compassion and strong organizational skills. The Paralegal will be part of a supportive team that assists with medical bills, liens, case openings, settlements, and disbursements, allowing the Paralegal to focus on client interaction.
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of personal injury paralegal experience.
- Proficiency in multitasking and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate client stress.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savviness.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Needles/Filevine case management software.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 50-65 cases and ensure their progression.
- Communicate regularly with clients (every 28 days) to provide updates.
- Collaborate with attorneys, investigators, and medical providers.
- Conduct detailed reviews of insurance information, medical records, and liability.
- Prepare cases for potential litigation.
