Requirements

Three or more years' experience working in a law firm
Thorough understanding of the litigation process
Knowledge of court and administrative hearing rules and procedures
Must be flexible with the ability to handle a large caseload in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...) and other legal software applications
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and employees at all levels of the firm
Team member who participates in shared office duties and requirements
Stable employment history

Responsibilities

Document management and analysis for large cases
Medical record summaries and chronologies
Procurement of medical records/HIPAA compliance
Preparation and service of subpoenas and other discovery requests
Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses
Preparation of routine status reports to clients or national counsel
Statewide roster/docket monitoring
Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court
Tracks time spent on client matters and enters time in billing system in a timely matter
