About The Position

The Paralegal will assist the Manager, VMO / Senior Paralegal Financial Services and KCC General Counsel and the Legal Department with respect to vendor onboarding and oversight, financial services compliance, financial services litigation management, Treasure/corporate finance, corporate governance and related functions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
Paralegal certificate preferred.
0-3 years of related experience with a degree.
3-5 years or related experience required in lieu of a degree.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

Support the Manager VMO on contract terms.
Create, update, and maintain new contracts, NDAs, work orders from internal stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of contracts and VMO processes and maintaining related databases.
Support legal compliance projects, legislative tracking and advice to clients.
Support litigation management for matters affecting financial services affiliates, including interaction with clients and outside counsel. This includes handling subpoenas and adversarial matters.
Work with outside legal counsel support ensuring timely completion of projects and ensuring that invoice is completed properly.
Support Treasury corporate finance transactions.
Support finance affiliates corporate governance, including annual reports and license renewals.
Coordinate KCC Policies and Procedures, including process and substantive review.
Other duties as assigned.
