This role is for a Paralegal in Banking Finance at BCF. You will be at the heart of the firm's success, playing a key role in shaping its future within a collaborative environment committed to talent development. Your contributions as a paralegal will make a difference within the team.

Requirements

Training in legal techniques or any other university or college academic background in law;
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial or finance law;
Customer service skills and impeccable professional ethics;
Ability to meet tight deadlines;
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a large firm is an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform research in various public databases (REQ, Corporations Canada, RDPRM, Bank Act, Plumitif, CIPO, Land Registry, etc.);
Analyze the information obtained and other research results;
Prepare draft title reports, summary reports, and other research reports;
Prepare various draft legal documents related to banking law and proceed with registrations with the RDPRM and the Land Registry.
