About The Position

Contribute to the warm and welcoming environment at Circle Academy, a non-public Special Education school serving S/ED, BD, LD youth ages 5-21. The Paraeducator works under the direction of, and in accordance with, the classroom teacher(s) to plan, coordinate, and implement the assigned classroom program.

Requirements

• Applicant must be a dependable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Candidates must have a para-professional license issued by the ISBE or able to obtain one.
• Prospective employees must be at least 21 years old.
• Prospective employees must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Prospective employees must be able to maintain our client’s confidentiality.
• Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment physical, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
