About The Position

The Paraeducator 1 assists the Teacher in delivering an instructional program by preparing the classroom and materials and working with individual students and small groups. The role also supervises student activities to help ensure a safe and orderly school environment. This is a probationary position at Terra Linda Elementary, scheduled for four hours per day, five days per week, on a 10-month calendar with 182 calendar work days. The daily work schedule is 9:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The stated hourly rate is $23.41141–$29.57831.

• Assist the Teacher in delivering an instructional program.
• Prepare the classroom and instructional materials.
• Work with individual students and small groups of students.
• Supervise student activities to help maintain a safe and orderly environment.
