About The Position

The Paraeducator 1 assists the Teacher in delivering an instructional program by preparing the classroom and materials and working with individual students and small groups. The role also supervises student activities to help maintain a safe and orderly school environment.

This temporary position supports a kindergarten student with mobility needs throughout the school community, including the classroom, playground, and restroom. Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is preferred but not required. The position is scheduled five days per week on a 10-month calendar, with 182 calendar work days in 2026–27. The daily schedule is 8:10 a.m.–3:10 p.m. The hourly rate is $23.41141–$29.57831.
