About The Position
This is a kindergarten paraprofessional position to work with one of our kindergarten teachers to support our youngest learners, both academically and with their social emotional learning. The ideal candidate would have experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Flexibility, dependability, and a positive demeanor are extremely important. The Paraeducator 1 assists the Teacher in the delivery of an instructional program, through preparation of the classroom and materials, and through working with individual and small groups of students. The Paraeducator 1 also provides supervision of student activities in order to ensure that the school maintains a safe and orderly environment.
