PARAEDUCATOR 1 (Probationary) & CROSSING GUARD (Temporary) | 7.25 Hrs | Jacob Wismer Elementary
About The Position
This position combines two roles: Paraeducator 1 and Crossing Guard. The Paraeducator 1 assists the Teacher in delivering an instructional program by preparing the classroom and materials, and by working with individual and small groups of students. This role also involves supervising student activities to ensure a safe and orderly school environment, with a portion of the assignment in a Kindergarten classroom. The Crossing Guard role involves supervising and safeguarding students at a designated crosswalk to ensure their safety and demonstrate proper safety procedures.
Requirements
- Must be able to work 7.25 hours per day.
- Paraeducator 1 assignment includes time in a Kindergarten classroom.
- Must be able to work 5 days per week.
- Must be able to work the daily schedule of 7:20 am-2:50 pm.

Responsibilities
