About The Position

This position is for a Paraeducator focusing on 1:1 Behavior Support and Resource Room duties within Special Education. The role involves supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), health impairments, and mild social/emotional behavioral deficits. The Resource program provides specially designed instruction to help students succeed in general education classrooms. The position is for the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for academic, behavior/social, and/or adaptive needs.
• Assisting in the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Assisting with health plans, toileting plans, and/or medical delegations based on students' individualized plans.
• May require Right Response training, depending on program and student needs.
• May require riding the bus with a student.
