About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Para-educator through our partnership with Tredyffrin-Easttown School District (T/ESD)! OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening! The Para-educator position will support students in one of the following areas: Autistic, Emotional, Instructional, Learning, and Life Skills. The Para-educator will work on student days following T/ESD school calendar year. Typical scheduled hours for Elementary: 8:30-4:00p / Middle School: 8:15AM - 3:15PM / High School: 7:30-3:00. Position schedule may vary depending upon assignment. 11 paid holidays & 7 days of paid time off (pro-rated based on start date). The hourly pay-rate for Para-educator is $20.81 per hour.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two-years of post secondary education (48 college credits)
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI
  • TB Screening
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts

Nice To Haves

  • Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional, behavioral, and/or physical support to individual students or small groups, including on-task prompting, social skills development, and self-care assistance.
  • Support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans by implementing accommodations and strategies as directed.
  • Reinforce learning concepts, classroom instruction, and skill development to help students achieve their educational goals.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to provide targeted academic and behavioral support.
  • Assist students in developing organizational, communication, problem-solving, and independent living skills.
  • Guide students through classroom activities, monitor participation and progress, and provide feedback to instructional staff.
  • Promote positive student behavior and help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and school administrators to support student success.
  • Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival/dismissal, transitions, and other non-instructional school activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with students while encouraging independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth.
