About The Position

Perform the VITS paper packing installation, including strapping, wrapping, and labeling. Ensure products are inspected and packaged properly and that all required information is entered in the Kronospan Operation System. Duties may also include operating a forklift to move paper and materials between departments, plant areas, or truck loading. Ensure products are managed and transported safely, and assist maintenance personnel when requested with equipment troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance to support continuous production-line operations.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions.
Ability to operate or learn to operate heavy machinery.
Ability to work with electric, pneumatic, or hand tools.
Ability to be trained and become certified to operate a forklift.
Ability to comprehend and manipulate metric measurements.
Ability to work effectively with other facility team members.
Ability to work without constant supervision.
Ability to creatively problem-solve individually or as part of a group.
Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders at a safe but rapid pace.
