The PAP Technician is responsible for processing PAP paperwork daily, educating patients on the proper use and care of PAP equipment, performing preventive maintenance on PAP equipment, and assisting in resolving patient equipment problems. This role also involves managing PAP inventory, collecting co-insurance payments, scheduling patient appointments, and assisting walk-in patients with equipment troubleshooting. Additionally, the PAP Technician will assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours, handle calls regarding service and repair, troubleshoot problems, and deliver and train patients on equipment usage. The position requires developing and maintaining knowledge of PAP products and services, reporting equipment hazards, managing phone systems, assisting with intake processes, and generating inventory reports.
