About The Position
Kubat Healthcare is seeking a PAP Compliance Specialist to join their expanding compliance department. This role is ideal for an independent, self-motivated individual with strong communication skills. The position focuses on ensuring patients adhere to their prescribed Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy by monitoring usage, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare providers to maintain compliance with insurance requirements.
Requirements
- Familiarity with sleep disorders and PAP therapy.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and address their needs.
- Proficiency in tracking and interpreting PAP usage data.
- Comfortable using software and tools for data tracking and reporting.
- Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements, particularly related to insurance and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients on the proper use of PAP devices and the importance of compliance with their treatment plans.
- Monitor and analyze PAP usage data to ensure patients meet required compliance parameters.
- Communicate with patients to address concerns, provide guidance, and encourage adherence to therapy.
- Submit compliance reports to insurance providers as required.
- Assist in managing audits related to PAP compliance.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the necessary support for successful treatment.
