Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, includes, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; push and pull.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Prepares ingredients for salads, cold dishes, garnishes and d'oeuvres
Carves and slices meats and cheese
Makes sandwiches to order
Prepares salad dressings, cocktail sauces, breakfast fruit and cold desserts
Portions and arranges food, sauces and dressings
Assists in the planning of special meal functions for special events
Prepares therapeutic meals for special diets and special resident requests
Maintains assigned work station, supplies and equipment in a safe and sanitary condition, and ensures all infection control policies and procedures are met
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Arcadia Family of Companies (AFC)
