About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a part time PANTRY COORDINATOR position located at NBC - 229 West 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036. The schedule is part time, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Further details will be provided upon interview. The pay range for this position is $22.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour. The Pantry Coordinator is responsible for food/beverage distribution from the pantry, pantry product inventory and offerings, and other related duties.

Requirements

Previous food service, customer service, or hospitality experience required.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Receive and verify deliveries, reconcile discrepancies, inspect product quality and expiration dates, and stock pantry areas while maintaining proper inventory levels using FIFO (first-in, first-out) rotation.
Restock office pantry items (beverages, snacks, coffee supplies, condiments) and ensure proper handling and storage of perishable goods, including maintaining required refrigeration standards.
Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and minor maintenance on coffee and water equipment; report malfunctions and coordinate repairs with service technicians.
Address customer needs and service concerns, communicate product updates, maintain organized displays, and uphold food safety standards while ensuring a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment.
Ensures all food or beverage is distributed from pantry in a timely fashion.
Maintains and performs product inventory.
Understands menu offerings.
Creates, modifies, or closes individual sale checks via electronic tablet.
Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
