About The Position

Anthony Scotto Restaurants is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pantry Cook for one of our Fine Dining steakhouses. The Pantry Cook plays a key role in supporting the culinary team by preparing and organizing items and prepped ingredients to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Strong knife skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Strong prep and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and portion vegetables, fruits, garnishes, salads, and other pantry items.
  • Follow chef specifications for all prep and cold station needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of pantry and prep areas.
  • Properly label, store, and rotate all food items in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Assist chefs and kitchen stations with timely ingredient preparation.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all prepared items.
  • Support efficient kitchen operations during peak service.
  • Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
