About The Position

Buck & Rider is looking for a Pantry Chef to join our elite culinary team! Buck & Rider is a Steak & Seafood Eatery and Oyster Bar. We are known for our commitment to excellence, seasonal ingredients, and refined service. All in a top of the line, fast-paced, and collaborative kitchen environment. We're looking for professional, detail-oriented Pantry team members who are excited to learn our systems and develop in our culture.

Requirements

• Ability to read recipes and follow their instructions, measurements, etc.
• Keen eye for plating and presentation
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• 1+ years’ experience as a cook in a restaurant environment
• Punctual, reliable, and ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
• Ability to spend long periods on your feet and lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Preparing and plating cold food items with precision
• Preparing Salads, Raw Bar items, chilled appetizers, garnishes, and desserts.
• Operating under our standard operating procedures and core values
• Preparing, executing, and presenting food to Buck & Rider brand standards
• Maintaining sanitary conditions in all dining, kitchen, and bar areas
• Marking, dating, and rotating all products
• Maintaining production and cleaning schedules
• Remaining organized and maintaining a neat, organized workspace
• Accepting direction from Management
• Adhering to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
