About The Position
The Pantry Attendant serves guests’ needs by assisting with guest orders (toast, bread, pastries, and lunch bread service.)
Requirements
- High school graduate and an apprenticeship, cooking school, or culinary institute education.
- Minimum one year of food service or related work.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
Responsibilities
- Check and complete mise en place and pars and set-up the pantry station for breakfast.
- Prepare items as required by the guest order for breakfast and lunch.
- Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
- Communicate with the Sous Chefs, In-Room Dining Managers and pastry team regarding menu-related items.
- Complete requisitions, obtain proper signatures, and submit to the In-Room Dining managers.
- Store items properly, checks expirations dates, following first in/out and Department of Health regulations.
- Complete side work for the following day.
- Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
