About The Position

The Pantry Attendant serves guests’ needs by assisting with guest orders (toast, bread, pastries, and lunch bread service.)

Requirements

  • High school graduate and an apprenticeship, cooking school, or culinary institute education.
  • Minimum one year of food service or related work.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities

  • Check and complete mise en place and pars and set-up the pantry station for breakfast.
  • Prepare items as required by the guest order for breakfast and lunch.
  • Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
  • Communicate with the Sous Chefs, In-Room Dining Managers and pastry team regarding menu-related items.
  • Complete requisitions, obtain proper signatures, and submit to the In-Room Dining managers.
  • Store items properly, checks expirations dates, following first in/out and Department of Health regulations.
  • Complete side work for the following day.
  • Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
