About The Position

As a Panel Wirer, you will build electrical and mechanical assemblies, including industrial control panels and enclosures, using wiring skills and working knowledge of Industrial Automation. You will follow Hartfiel Automation job folders and quality processes, test completed products, and contribute to product development and continuous improvement. This is a full-time, in-office position at the Eden Prairie office, with one of two schedules: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or 7 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m.–11 a.m. Friday.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least two years of hands-on electrical assembly or wiring experience.
Ability to sit or stand and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
Steady hands and strong dexterity for detailed hand-tool work.

Nice To Haves

A degree in Electronics, Fluid Power, or Robotics.
Experience building panels.

Responsibilities

Build products according to Hartfiel Automation job folders, including control panel assembly, valve stacking, fitting installation, pulling and reading orders, labeling, and testing finished products.
Perform point-to-point wiring on industrial-scale panels.
Conduct final tests on completed assemblies.
Collaborate with the sales group to help develop new products.
Suggest ways to improve processes and work practices.
Use shop tools safely and keep the workspace clean and organized.
Follow Hartfiel Automation's quality processes.
Support the company's mission, values, and vision as a team member.
Assist with other tasks as needed.
