Panel Assembler- Day Shift $19.82/ hr

About The Position

Panel Services builds electrical control panels for customer applications. Panels vary in size and complexity and are built to Engineering and UL508A specifications. The Panel Assembler mounts, wires, cuts, and assembles components for each build. This is an hourly, non-exempt production role with a Monday–Friday schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including a half-hour lunch and two 10-minute breaks. Overtime, including Saturdays, may be required to meet business demands.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Computer skills, including MS Office, email, and a current Windows operating system.
Ability to learn quickly and work at pace while meeting quality and production standards in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods during an 8-hour shift and use hand and power tools during the workday.
Ability to occasionally lift 25–50 pounds and handle heavy hand tools on a daily basis.
Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required to meet business demands.

Responsibilities

Measure, drill, punch, and cut metal enclosures accurately as required.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD assembly drawings, and wire according to them.
Install components, crimp connections, and route wiring to specifications with attention to detail.
Produce assemblies, apply labels, and package peripherals.
Use hand and power tools while performing assembly work.
Maintain an organized work area for safety and productivity.
Use the computer ERP system to perform transactions.
Assist with verifying stock accuracy through occasional cycle counts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
