About The Position
The WVUHS Medical Group is seeking a Palliative and Supportive Care Physician. The successful candidate will practice in the primary locations of South Charleston, WV and Charleston, WV, focusing on Palliative Care medicine. The West Virginia University Health System is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, with 18 hospitals across West Virginia and bordering states, along with five institutes and management services for local hospitals.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible to obtain state medical license
- Completed residency in internal medicine or family medicine
- Completed fellowship in palliative care by the time of appointment
- Board certified/board eligible in Palliative Medicine
Responsibilities
- Practice in the areas of Palliative Care medicine.
