About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Palliative and Supportive Care Physician. The successful candidate/candidates will be expected to practice in the primary location of South Charleston, WV and Charleston, WV. The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Palliative Care medicine.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license.
- Completed residency in internal medicine or family medicine and fellowship in palliative care by the time of appointment.
- Board certified/board eligible in Palliative Medicine.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the areas of Palliative Care medicine.
