About The Position

Bayshore Home Care Solutions, Hamilton Branch is looking for Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) to join their team. This role offers an environment that prioritizes flexibility while fully utilizing nursing skill sets. The position specializes in palliative care, requiring critical thinking for complex care, empathetic caregiving, and advanced wound care. Duties include providing skilled clinical care in the client home setting. This is a casual day shift position with an on-call rotation that includes overnight shifts (11pm-7am) and weekend shifts (3pm-11pm), approximately 2-4 on-call shifts per month. The on-call rotation involves one shift per week, either 3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am. The location is the Greater Hamilton Area.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited/recognized School of Nursing (evidence required).
Current RPN or LPN registration (in good standing) with the applicable provincial licensing body.
Valid CPR certification.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).
A clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening.
Proof of being free from TB.
Two supervisory references.
