About The Position

This role is responsible for operating palletizing and strapping equipment while performing quality checks to ensure the highest quality cans at the lowest possible costs. Requirements

6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting (high-speed manufacturing is preferred).
Exhibit safety and quality as their top priorities.
Effective record keeping skills and the ability to focus on details.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment.
Must be able to stand continuously for more than 8+ hours per shift.
Must be able to walk, lift/carry up to 50 lbs on occasion.
Must be about to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Must be able to twist at the waist and bend repetitively.
This position may also require climbing or balancing.
Must be able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts, both day and evening.

Responsibilities

Operate Palletizer and Strapper equipment.
Perform visual check of finished goods.
Remove damaged and/or suspect finished goods from palletizer and report same to Supervision, Production Line Operator and Quality Inspector.
Utilize proper packaging materials (Chipboard, top frames and pallets).
Verify and place proper pallet tags on finished goods.
Keeps equipment and all areas safe, clean, and organized through proper housekeeping.
Follow all required environmental, health and safety procedures.
Performs other related duties as required.
