About The Position

Cargill's protein and salt business is seeking a Palletizer for their Evening Shift in North Kingstown, RI. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring wholesome, high-quality food products are prepared for a wide range of customers. The position involves manually stacking products on pallets according to specific instructions, ensuring proper loading and stacking, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years old, eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and have experience in heavy general labor. The compensation for this role is $19.81/hr.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Previous or current experience in heavy general labor roles
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to perform consistent and repetitive tasks

• Previous work experience in food production, manufacturing, or similar environment

Responsibilities

• Manually stacking products on pallets according to specific instructions
• Ensure pallets are properly loaded and stacked, identifying and addressing any issues
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations including wearing the required PPE
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production and equipment issues
• May include other tasks as assigned
