About The Position

This position is responsible for repairing broken wood pallets, operating a forklift to move pallets and supplies to and from the grounds and trailers and communicating with management and co-workers and processing paperwork necessary to position. This position will be exposed to a work environment that is tied to what the weather outside is (rain, heat, cold, insects), wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, concrete grounds and noise levels that are loud enough to require hearing protection. Must be willing to lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs. and stand and/or sit on a forklift for up to 8 to 12 hours. Must be willing to operate a nail gun, pry bars and pallet lift. Be backup for Palletizer to help slip breaks and when need it to help out in the yard various positions.

Requirements

Must be willing to take and pass forklift operation certification
Must be willing to operate a pallet lift
Must have a minimum 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years
Must have a minimum 3 months operating machinery in a processing/factory environment
All applicants must complete the final task that is separate from the application
Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days
Applicants that have worked at Tyson 3 times or more are not eligible for rehire
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
