About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring offal trailer weights are maintained, operating a forklift to empty totes into the residue trailers as necessary, and operating a scissor lift while wearing fall protection to remove liners, cardboard, etc. from the residue trailers. The role also involves operating the cement scrubber to keep the grounds clean, communicating with management and co-workers, and processing necessary paperwork. The work environment is exposed to outdoor weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, insects), wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, concrete grounds, and noise levels requiring dual hearing protection. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 95 lbs.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years
Minimum of 3 months operating machinery in a processing/factory environment
Willing to take and pass forklift operation certification
Willing to take and pass scissor lift operation certification
Willing to take and pass fall protection certification
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must be willing to lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs
