About The Position

The Pallet Jack Operator for Byproduct has the responsibility of moving all palletized products to its designated area before being shipped to customers. The Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for having the product on the floor to keep the production going and is responsible for communicating with the supervisor if a potential slowdown is about to happen due to no product available. The Pallet Jack Operator may also be required to assist in the staging and loading of all Bell and Evans products in preparation for shipment. This role takes a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Must possess a strong attention to details.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
• 6–12 months of previous experience operating a pallet jack is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from supervisor to keep product on the floor for production needs.
• Prepares pallets for handling items appropriately and be able to create combo Bins.
• Perform pre-checks of the pallet jack to ensure that it is in proper working order.
• Always Utilize Safe Practice habits when operating the pallet jack.
• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.
• Consuming and Containerizing labels for product to ensure inventory is correct.
• Moving all palletized products to its designated area before being shipped to customers.
• Communicating with supervisor if a potential slowdown is about to happen due to no product available.
• Assisting in the staging and loading of all Bell and Evans products in preparation for shipment.
