About The Position

Mountain Pro is hiring a Painting Field Supervisor to oversee painting crews on commercial, resort-area, and high-end residential projects in the Vail, CO area. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced painter who can manage daily job site activity, guide crew members, protect quality standards, and keep projects moving. You will work closely with production leadership while helping deliver clean, professional results across Colorado's mountain communities. Mountain Pro is a leading painting contractor serving Colorado's resort and mountain markets, including Vail, Summit County, Durango, and surrounding areas. For more than two decades, we have completed interior and exterior painting projects for luxury homes, commercial buildings, and resort-area properties. Our team is known for dependable crews, strong communication, quality finishes, and a work culture built around respect, accountability, and enjoying the mountain lifestyle.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of professional commercial painting experience preferred
  • Interior, exterior, prep, and finish painting experience preferred
  • 2+ years of crew leadership, foreman, or field supervision experience preferred
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Ability to plan work, solve problems, and keep projects moving
  • High standards for preparation, detail, cleanliness, and final results
  • Professional attitude with clients, coworkers, managers, and contractors
  • English fluency required
  • Valid driver's license

  • Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Local to the Vail area or willing to relocate for the right opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support painting crews on commercial and high-end residential job sites
  • Set daily priorities and keep the team focused, productive, and safe
  • Assign tasks based on crew strengths, project needs, and schedule expectations
  • Oversee surface prep, interior painting, exterior painting, detail work, and final touch-ups
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, quality, and finish appearance
  • Monitor progress and communicate updates to Production Managers
  • Coordinate materials, supplies, timelines, and short-term job site needs
  • Help adjust schedules and daily work plans to meet project deadlines
  • Troubleshoot field issues and make practical decisions on site
  • Build a respectful, hardworking, drama-free crew environment
  • Represent Mountain Pro professionally with clients, contractors, and property managers
