About The Position
Doosan Bobcat is seeking an industrial Painter to apply powder coating to metal parts, operate paint and curing equipment, and help ensure each part meets quality standards. Relevant hands-on experience may include industrial or automotive painting, powder coating, body work, manufacturing finishing, or similar painting and coating work. Job-specific skills, techniques, and safe equipment-operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are provided for recurring duties, while detailed instructions are provided for new assignments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly.
- Ability to work under time pressure and at a rapid pace for extended periods to meet build requirements.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through completion of high school or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in industrial painting, automotive painting, powder coating, body work, manufacturing finishing, or similar hands-on painting or coating work.
Responsibilities
- Apply paint powder to parts passing through the paint booth while maintaining paint quality.
- Perform preventative maintenance on paint booths.
- Operate and maintain the cure oven.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Assist with reworking parts.
- Complete ISO checklists.
- Perform duties safely and efficiently in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Perform overtime work as required.
- Assist with and train others as requested by the supervisor.
