About The Position
This role involves preparing surfaces and applying coatings to various parts or products using standard methods. The Painter is responsible for mixing paints to specified colors and consistencies, ensuring a machine finish and appearance. This position also includes touching up marred surfaces, maintaining painting equipment, properly storing supplies, and identifying and reporting faulty operations or defective materials to a supervisor.

- High School or Technical School Diploma

- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Mix paints, enamels, and lacquers to specified colors, consistencies and viscosities for spraying and/or brushing
- Prepare surfaces and apply coatings to various parts or products using standard methods
- Paint for machine finish and appearance
- Touch up marred surfaces
- Provide for the operating maintenance of equipment
- Properly store painting supplies
- Detect faulty operation, defective material, and refer these and other situations to supervisor
