About The Position

SP+ is an artificial intelligence company for the real world, using computer vision to enable checkout-free parking experiences. We are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking. Our SmartPark Maintenance client is seeking a new Painter for the Portland, OR Maintenance Team. This is a DRIVING position and requires a clean driving record to pass MVR check.

Requirements

High school Diploma/GED
At least 1 year of commercial painting experience required.
Must be able to complete jobs timely and be detail oriented
Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

Striping experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform professional painting and maintenance across SmartPark garage facilities.
Accurately match paint colors to maintain consistency and aesthetic standards.
Collaborate directly with the local Sherwin-Williams commercial representative to procure all necessary paint and supplies.
Utilize a Purchase Order style system to effectively manage purchases.
Demonstrate proficiency in using standard industry tools, including rollers, brushes, and sprayers.
Apply comprehensive knowledge of surface preparation and all aspects of the painting process to ensure long-lasting results.
Driving company vehicles
Clean, scrape, prime or seal surfaces prior to painting
Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection
Fill cracks, holes and joints with caulk, putty plaster or other fillers using caulk gun or putty knife
Use a spray gun for large jobs
Climb ladders to reach high ceilings or walls when necessary
Clean up all equipment including brushes and spray guns upon completion of job
