About The Position

A Painter for Toyota Automated Logistics will be responsible for general painting of material handling equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is producing high quality and exceptional painting of various equipment that meets the required specifications of the designated project. Other duties will include assembly and fabrication of other projects as well as general repair and maintenance of Toyota Automated Logistics shop equipment.

Requirements

• Must have completed/obtained High School diploma or GED
• Experience in powder coat / 5+ years
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. - standing, bending, pulling, pushing, and lifting are potential movement requirements for this role
• Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship
• Employees must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant painting experience highly preferred
• Positive attitude, able to handle tense situations that arise

Responsibilities

• Paint prep using sanding and grinding tools along with Acetone & Xylene
• Keep workspace in a neat and organized order
• Produce high quality painted parts from blueprints with low rejection rate
• Follow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis)
• Utilize hand tools to perform fabrication tasks as needed
• General knowledge of paint guns, paint boots, and paint accessories
