About The Position
Responsible for painting according to location standards and procedures, while ensuring projects are completed in a safe and professional manner. assist with maintenance work orders. Completes necessary painting as assigned, and assures painted areas have uniform paint coverage and matching colors. Verifies walls are free of holes and restored to original appearance. Assures walls, doors and door frames are free of dirt and scuffed areas. Assures ceilings are free of chips, peels and cracks. Completes necessary documentation as appropriate. Utilizes appropriate communication techniques to explain procedure to necessary individuals before and during painting process. Keep chemicals secured in locked area. Demonstrates safe and proper techniques for chemical use and equipment. Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections by following appropriate cleaning techniques.
Requirements
- When applicable, current valid driver’s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or general education diploma (GED) is preferred.
- Trade school, vocational school or apprenticeship in painting filed preferred.
