About The Position

Responsible for painting according to location standards and procedures, while ensuring projects are completed in a safe and professional manner. assist with maintenance work orders.

Requirements

• High school graduate or general education diploma (GED) is preferred.
• When applicable, current valid driver’s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers.

Nice To Haves

• Trade school, vocational school or apprenticeship in painting filed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes necessary painting as assigned, and assures painted areas have uniform paint coverage and matching colors.
• Verifies walls are free of holes and restored to original appearance.
• Assures walls, doors and door frames are free of dirt and scuffed areas.
• Assures ceilings are free of chips, peels and cracks.
• Completes necessary documentation as appropriate.
• Utilizes appropriate communication techniques to explain procedure to necessary individuals before and during painting process.
• Keep chemicals secured in locked area.
• Demonstrates safe and proper techniques for chemical use and equipment.
• Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections by following appropriate cleaning techniques.
