About The Position

Sandvik Mining has an opening for a Painter! Sandvik Mining is the leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. As the Painter, you are responsible for Follows instructions of work within time constraints to meet established delivery targets. Adjusts equipment and repairs/replaces defective parts components or systems per instructions. Inspects equipment for proper performance and determines faults and malfunctions. Identifies additional repairs, compiles parts and labor estimates. Moving material into the paint booth Preparing the pieces for paint Verify paint color of each component as required Painting as required to provide a professional finish to the pieces Tagging or labeling each piece with correct job number Organize/ rack painted pieces together by sub job component Moving the pieces to the appropriate location for use You will be required to keep your area clean and maintain the paint equipment and facility

Requirements

  • H.S Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience with industry specific equipment
  • Must be able to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, stand for extended periods, and safely use tools and service equipment.
  • Strong commitment to safety, customer service, teamwork, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and complete work in a safe and timely manner
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship.
