Painter Repair Technician Apprentice
About The Position
Surface Experts specializes in the repair of interior hard surfaces: Floors, Countertops, Bathtubs, Sinks, Cabinets, Appliances, Furniture, … Almost Everything! We aim to be the “one place fixes all” for any kind of small surface damage. Traditional skills meet modern solutions: We deliver high-quality, long-lasting repairs with a smile. While many of our repairs are relatively small and straightforward, our competitors always want to completely resurface. Our repairs are often smaller than a dinner plate. This superior alternative results in satisfied customers and long-term relationships. Our process minimizes materials in landfills while helping our customers save time and money! Our repair process needs minimal product – allowing our technicians to take everything they need with them in a small vehicle.
Requirements
- Practical experience with a hands-on trade – Example include any part the construction or painting process. Personal hobbies could work too!
- Candidates with auto body experience and/or HVLP Spray equipment will be given preference.
- Ability to understand and manipulate color is crucial for success.
- Experience in painting (interior, exterior, or visual art).
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and refinishing of bathtubs, sinks and countertops.
- Visit 4+ jobsites every day.
- Repair damage on the job site while using exceptional customer service to follow up with staff.
- Employ creativity in several settings such as apartments, hotels, homes, commercial buildings, and building sites.
- Use outstanding customer service to engage with staff and tenants.
- Keep progress up to date with notes and updates in our CRM/Dispatch tool.
- Reach out to our Support Team for guidance on any issue or question.
- Develop an understanding of our own 5-step repair process and use it in the field.
- Master each part of your custom-made tool-kit.
- Think outside the box to create one-of-a-kind repairs.
