About The Position

The Painter/Laborer is responsible for all aspects of paint, from start to finish as well as assisting in other departments as needed.

At least 1 year of experience with prep, sanding, wet sanding, and buffing is required
At least 1 year of experience painting on a variety of surfaces to include aluminum, fiberglass, smooth, and various rough surfaces

At least 2 years of experience painting a variety of surfaces to include aluminum, fiberglass, smooth and rough surfaces is preferred
Reliable, detail orientated, and self-motivated
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders
Ability to work within aggressive schedules and deadlines
Forklift certification is preferred

Clean surfaces prior to layering paint
Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order
Safely disposing of chemical waste
Ensure that PPE such as painting goggles are used
Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface
Assist in other departments as needed
Driving to get paint as needed
