Painter - Industrial Equipment (Production)
About The Position
IRD, LLC is a specialist in manufacturing industrial test equipment used in the rotating apparatus industry, producing the IRD Balancing equipment and the Lexseco Core Loss Testers. We are seeking a skilled industrial painter with experience operating spray paint equipment to handle our high-end products. This position works 4 10-hour days with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The ideal candidate will paint a smooth, defect-free surface, apply body filler, and sand primer smooth before painting. All paint finishes must be consistent in appearance. Experience in painting machine components and assemblies is required. Successful completion of a vocational training course in Automotive Body Repair will be considered in addition to or in lieu of work experience. Must have experience with HVLP gravity-fed spraying and multi-component finishes. Sandblasting and material handling will be part of the daily responsibilities. The candidate must be willing to be respirator fit tested. The work environment is air-conditioned.
Requirements
- Experience operating spray paint equipment.

- Experience with saws, drill presses, forklifts and other miscellaneous power and hand tools.
