About The Position

Responsible for assisting Journeyman Painter with applying paint products to a variety of surfaces. This role involves preparing surfaces, maintaining a clean workspace, assisting with fixture removal, and aiding in the application of paints and finishes according to project scope. The position requires performing duties in compliance with company policies and obtaining/maintaining necessary tools and equipment. The Painter Helper will take direction from their supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Strong attention to detail.
• 0-2 years previous experience painting residential, commercial, and/or industrial sites.

• Construction safety knowledge and certification

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparing surfaces by washing, pressure washing, repairing drywall and similar surfaces as required.
• Helping Painter(s) to maintain a safe and clean workspace.
• Assist with removing fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch covers to protect prior to painting.
• Assist with masking, taping, cutting, rolling, spraying.
• Assist with applying paints and other finishes per project scope of work.
• Perform duties in compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Obtain/maintain tools and equipment as required on the company Mandatory Tool List.
• Take direction from your supervisor.
