About The Position
The Painter Helper position is a day shift role focused on meeting production schedules while maintaining high standards of quality, health, and safety. Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing valves for painting, applying primer and paint, and ensuring the final product is free of dust and grit. The role may also involve operating a forklift and a blast cabinet for small parts.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Painter/Sandblasting experience
Responsibilities
- Strives to meet production schedules without sacrifice to quality or health and safety standards
- Clean and wipe down valves
- Tape all ID tags and lever
- Put socket weld or buttweld covers on valves
- Prime valves and let dry
- Paint valves and let dry
- Remove all tape and blow off valves making sure they are free of dust and grit.
- Clean lever and place valve on pallet
- May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor
- Operate Forklift when needed
- Operate a blast cabinet for blasting small parts
