About The Position
Ontic is an Industry Leader with 45 years of experience supporting the Aerospace Industry through aircraft technology, parts, and MRO support. We are a team of driven individuals committed to continuous innovation in the aerospace sector. We are hiring a Painter/Finisher to join our Creedmoor, NC operation.
Requirements
- Must be 18 yrs. or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years spray-painting experience required.
- Able to read blueprints and follow work instructions/specifications.
- Safety conscious and conforms to ES&H requirements.
- Must be able to identify colors and read minimum of 8-point font.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. Max.
- Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of the ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
Nice To Haves
- NADCAP experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Finishes, to include masking, spray painting, conformal coating, piece marking, encapsulation, and chemical finishing.
- Lamination stacking, bonding, fluidize bedding, motor impregnation, coil covering, helicoil insertion and other minor assembly.
- Remaining flexible to start and stop hot jobs when needed.
- Needs to be able to transition to 2nd shift 1pm-12am or weekend shift Fri/Sat/Sunday 6am-6pm.
