About The Position

We are currently accepting applications for a skilled and detail-oriented Painter/Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality body repairs and painting on a variety of vehicles. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a body repair technician and/or painter.
Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and painting processes.
Ability to operate various tools and equipment used in auto body repair and painting.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues accurately.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Certification in auto body repair and painting preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect and assess vehicles for damage, determining the extent of repairs needed.
Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment.
Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
Mix and apply paint to match vehicle colors and ensure a seamless finish.
Conduct final inspections to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment as required.
Communicate with management to provide updates on repair status and address any concerns.
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
