About The Position

We are looking for a Body Shop Technician to join the team at the Hansel Collision Center in Santa Rosa, CA. The Body Shop Technician utilizes industry-leading equipment, tools, and repair procedures to efficiently and safely restore customer vehicles to manufacturer and company standards. Working as part of an exceptional collision repair team, the technician provides a second-to-none experience for every customer through quality workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Body Shop Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. As part of a team of certified collision repair professionals, you'll help serve drivers throughout Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, and the surrounding Sonoma County communities with industry-leading craftsmanship and customer care.

Requirements

  • Previous auto body repair or collision repair technician experience required
  • Strong understanding of vehicle repair procedures and structural repair techniques
  • Ability to identify repair needs and execute repairs with a high level of workmanship
  • Have the highest level of workmanship
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and safety focused
  • Pass a drug test
  • Pass a background check
  • Clean and Valid California driver’s license
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and sit for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hands for handling tools, equipment, and controls
  • Ability to enter, exit, and demonstrate vehicles
  • Ability to work safety at heights and in varying weather and environmental conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform overhead work on vehicles for extended periods.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy and insurer requirements
  • Ability to safely operate company and customer vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Examines customer vehicles
  • Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Estimates cost of repairs
  • Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Documents services performed
  • Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines
  • Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines
  • Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Participates in required training
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
